The In-Between

The Basics

Location: Beyond Umberland—the liminal space between life and death

Owner: None—it belongs to no one, yet holds everyone

Hours: Timeless. There is no clock, no sunrise, no nightfall. Entry comes not by choice, but by calling.

Vibe: Vast, sacred, and surreal. A realm of fields with no horizon, snow with no storm, light with no sun. The In-Between is both threshold and reckoning—a place where the soul waits, witnesses, or wanders toward destiny.

Nickname: Few dare to call it anything but its name. When whispered, it carries reverence: “The In-Between.”

Pride Point: It is where the unseen speaks. Prophecy, memory, and fate align here in forms the living barely comprehend.

Who Gathers Here: Only those chosen—dreamers, seers, and the dying. Ancestors linger at its edges. Spirits wait in silence.

Atmosphere: Grasses sway. Snow glows. A rainbow-stone tower rises from the void, its iridescence a spine of light and weight. Inside, a marble hall opens to thrones humming with color—seven pairs, fourteen seats, each carrying the gravity of creation. Between realms, a rickety bridge sways over a chasm, daring the traveler forward. The whole place breathes with ceremony, as though every stone, every step, has been waiting for you.

Unspoken Rule: Nothing here is casual. The In-Between shows what you’re ready to see, no more, no less.
