Vibe: A living archive of warmth, wood, and modern nostalgia. The Walnut Home is a two-story mid-century modern rental house tucked deep into Ashwood Park’s mist and moss, wrapped in old trees, mirrored glass, walnut paneling, and quiet light. It’s not flashy. It doesn’t perform. It holds. Every line, texture, and shadow feels intentional, built for comfort, privacy, creativity, and the kind of love that deepens when nobody’s watching.
Pride Point: A perfect harmony of function and feeling. A walnut double-door entry with brass numbers catching the rainlight. Pale stacked stone, mirrored windows, tobacco curtains, honeyed wood ceilings, and rooms that glow like they know how to keep a secret. Inside, the house moves between softness and focus: a golden living room, twin creative office spaces, a serene bedroom, a sunlit kitchen, and a bar where green marble catches laughter when the house allows it.
Who Gathers Here: Mostly Zaire, Saela, and their two dogs, King and Bella. They don’t host. They don’t do pop-ins. On rare occasions, Saela’s family may stop by, but even then, the house keeps its voice low. This is not a gathering house. It’s a refuge.
Atmosphere: Wood and light. Amber, brass, walnut, moss, and soft shadow. Morning slips through mirrored glass and warm curtains; night folds itself around the walls with lamps glowing low and the scent of something slow-cooked moving through the rooms. Outside, Grey Forest Drive stays misty and still. Inside, the house hums with quiet routine—key bowls, dog paws, closed curtains, pages being written, games being built, love moving around without needing to announce itself.
Unspoken Rule: Take your time. Nothing in this house asks you to rush, and nobody inside is rushing to let you in.
